3/8 to 3/14

Okay. This one will be brief as I have been horribly busy at the office these days and have gotten behind on my daily write ups. I should be able to get started on this daily again as life is starting to settle down a bit at my house and office. Anyways, on to the weeks poker. I have now started playing on PokerStars pretty much exclusively. There are a few reasons for this such as trust, variety of cash games at the 2/4 to 5/10 levels, tournament selection and their VIP levels. I also determined that it would be a lot easier to manage my bankroll for the levels I am playing at one site as opposed to 3 or 4. On the week I was able to make another Final Table in a Limit MTT finishing 4th again for about $350. I took a couple of beats but was overall happy with my play. This is the 2nd 4th place finish for me in a Limit MTT so I will try and play a couple of these each week and see where that takes me. The cash tables were also good too me. I spent a lot of time this week playing multiple tables of 2/4 and 3/6. I haven’t been able to play until later at night lately so I haven’t been playing that many tournaments lately. I have managed to cash in most that I played so I ended up turning a nice profit on the week. I did play my first ever home game on Saturday night. It was a few of the guys from church and a couple of others that worked with someone. It was a $10 buyin and the total pot was $170. We paid top 2 spots 80/20. It was a fairly easy field with a bunch who were new to the game. I felt bad rolling through it but I had all the chips an hour earlier than it was expected to last till. Lots of calling and very little raising made for alot of stealing by me. It paid $135 for 1st so I had a nice profit of $125. Very enjoyable 1st experience. Hopefully next week brings more of the same. I am sorry there wasn’t much details but with my wife’s recovery and being busy at work I don’t have a lot to talk about. Besides, cash games are boring to talk about. I will have next weeks up in a couple of days and hopefully will get into a little more detail. Good luck to all of us.
