3/1 to 3/7
After getting my wife home from the hospital last week I really haven’t played that much poker. I try to play one tournament per night but that is about it. We have a wonderful Sunday School class which has brought dinner for us every night since we have gotten home from the hospital so that has really lifted a burden from me. I have still had to take care of the kids, cleaning, dishes, and laundry which I don’t mind doing it just means I have less time to play. Luckily on the week I have had a pretty decent week. Nothing amazing to report but I did make a FT at Stars in a $30 Limit Holdem event finishing 4th. I played very good but got unlucky a couple of times with 4 left. I have been getting deep in pretty much every tournament I have played lately. I am then missing one hand that has cost me but I know that will turn and I will get to some nice FT’s. I’ve been playing a little 3/6 and have done well there and I have also begun working on collecting enough W$ on Stars in order to buyin to one of the early WSOP tournaments. I was fortunate enough to win my $33 seat off of $2 cash in my first try so I will be in for $2 if I am able to accomplish my goal. I will try to build up to about $100-$150 playing the $2R and once I do that will switch to the $5R into the $150 DS. If I am fortunate enough to win enough W$ then I will use them to play a $1500 to $2000 event depending on how much I am able to accumulate. Anyways, for the week I did manage to turn a small profit. I’m sorry I don’t have any more specifics but work has been extremely busy and home wasn’t any better. Good luck in your playing in the coming week.
