2/22 to 2/28

Well we are off for the last week of the month. It has been a pretty bad month. I am ahead a small amount but have been on a horrible run in MTT’s. I don’t understand how people who only play MTT’s do it. It seems like you could go on a bad run and take a huge hit to your bankroll. Playing cash games honestly seems like the safest way to go. I realized about a week and a half ago that my mind wasn’t right to be playing MTT’s so I pretty much just quit. I guess that makes it a little easier to keep heading forward without taking such a huge hit to the bankroll. I have yet to make a withdrawal for the month and barring a nice finish in a MTT I doubt I will. Anyways, on to poker. Wednesday night I really couldn’t get into playing that much. I spent about 2 hours playing as I watched TV so I only played 2 tables of 2/4 and ended the night up just under $70. I think this is part of my main problem right now. I have a lot on my mind with my wife’s impending surgeries and can’t stay focused long enough to do well in a MTT. I haven’t been playing that much each night but I do plan on a couple of long nights this weekend if at all possible. The tournament rut continues. I dropped about $40 in entries and actually had one of the few losing nights playing 2/4 so I ended down about $75 on the night. The last few days of the month I really didn't play much and I can honestly say I don't remember much of what happened. My wife had a hysterectomy on the 27th and made it safely through that so that is all that really matters. I am behind for next week but will give a summary at that worst.
