3/22 to 3/28
This week started of on a down note as the cash games haven’t been treating me as good. I feel I am playing solid though so no worries yet. I have lost a couple of monster pots that had a 3 outer and a 5 outer not hit for my opponent I would be up nicely. I have been getting my money in while I am ahead and just getting outdrawn on the end so I can’t really complain. I am leaving work early as this has been a very busy week at work and I need to sit down and just relax. The weekend was really a nothing weekend. I didn’t play a lot as I was really just tired. I played a couple of $20 buyins on Party that I got deep in but failed to get to the bigger $$$ finishing in the 2nd tier of money on Saturday and busting out 18th on Sunday. I did manage to win about $275 total on Party this weekend so I may play there just a little but still keeping Stars #1. I need to at least earn 1500 FPP’s on Stars next month in order to maintain SilverStar status. This will get me into a $2,500 freeroll and will allow me to try and qualify for the end of the month 100K freeroll. The month is winding down now and it hasn’t been a great month. I have been working on upping my bankroll online so I can spend a little more time playing a little higher limit cash games. I’m not sure if I will get to cash out much if any this month since I would like to be between $2,500-$3,000 before I cash out. I have been seeing my tournament play improving and if I can keep up the solid 3/6 and 5/10 then I will hopefully start seeing some very nice profits each month. Monday night I just wasn’t up for playing. I signed up for a $20 on UB and played for about 30 minutes before busting out to an odd hand and then decided going to bed at 9:15 was better than playing. I am primed and ready for tonight though. Hopefully a nice cash is in store. I thought that nice cash was coming Tuesday night I played a $30 on Stars with about 650 in it. I played really well. Actually some of the best poker I’ve played in a while. I was making the right reads and even though I was very card dead (I had see 10% of the flops) I had played very well and had a nice stack working from a little before the second break on. I had a major cooler when my KK ran into a medium stacks AA but managed to work my way back up until my JJ ran into the powerful KQ os. A K on the flop and I was out 29th. I still cashed for about $85 but the $4,800 was within reach. I won a nice sum on the cash tables on Party so all in all it was a good night. Just 3 days to go in the month so I will have my monthly summary up pretty soon. Good luck to us all.
