3/15 to 3/21

Well this week the solid play has continued. I have been running really good over the last few. I started the week of with some cash game play. I have been mostly playing 3/6 and 5/10 limit lately and have had pretty good success. Wednesday and Thursday we both positive days. My Mom was in town so that limited my play a little but still managed to get in a couple of hundred hands multi-tabling. Didn’t get to play at all Friday night which was a nice breather. Saturday was a good day at the cash tables. I played a couple of tournaments and got nothing going at all. I had taken advantage of Stars 20% reload bonus so I had 600 FPP’s that I needed to work off so I spent quite a bit of time playing some 3/6. I worked off 3/4 of the bonus so I just needed a little bit to clear it. I did sit in on some 10/20 for about an hour. I only played 1 table at a time and managed to win just under $200. I don’t think I am ready to move up there yet but I do like to get my feet wet periodically with some higher limits. Sunday was another day of cash play and a couple of tournaments. I got very deep into a $20 180 and had a very nice stack working until I picked up QQ in the SB. The button called and I raised. He reraised thinking I was stealing and then I moved in over the top. He thought for a while and then called with his 88. An 8 on the flop and I was crippled. I got no hands and went out about 22-25. I then sat down at 3 5/10 tables and managed to get in about 200 hands in about an hour. I finished off my bonus and won right at $100. I didn’t get to play any more until my last tournament of the night which was a $20 PL Holdem game. 4 hours later I came out on top for a nice $972 cash. I will definitely sacrifice sleep for almost a grand. This has been a great week cash wise. A couple more days before the end of the week to close it out in style. This will also be my first month earning the Sliver Star status in Stars VIP program so hopefully I can make the 100K freeroll at the end of the month. Monday night I had no luck. I played quite a few hands of 3/6 and 5/10 and ended the night about as dead even as possible at the cash tables. I did play a $20 heads up SNG and a $20 180 MTT and failed to win or cash so I ended up down about my buyins for the night. I did manage to pass into Sliver Star Status for the month. I now have that until the end of April. I will earn FPP’s 50% faster now and that will be a big help as far as earning points to try some qualifiers. I don’t think I will earn Gold status for the month but that will be a goal for next month. That would roughly earn me enough FPP’s to buy into the Sunday $215 once per month with my FPP’s since as a Gold member I would be earning points 2x faster. This would be a great bonus just for playing my favorite site. One more night in the week and I will have shown a very nice profit with my cash play and the nice tournament win. Tuesday was a down night but after the little run I have been on that is to be expected. I ended the week up about $1500 so I would definitely like to continue this run.
